INR 85416.7 Crores employing 200,000 technical professionals annually providing abundant skilled workforce for the automobile industry. The auto cluster has an investment of INR 97,500 Crores and exports goods worth INR 1500 Crores

Pithampur also houses Asia’s largest testing track “National Automobile Test Track” (NATRAX), a state-of-the-art automotive testing and certification centre under NATRiP, a flasgship project of the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India.NATRAX is spread across an area of 1200 Ha with 11.3 km of test track with as investment of USD 200 Mn where it has 14 types of test track including Vehicle Dynamics, fatigue and NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) testing facilities.
